Are You Planted in God's House?
Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God. Ps 92:13
Vegetation has three basic needs, water, nutrition and sunlight. If a plant has the proper amount of these sources, it will flourish.
When a soul is planted in the house of the Lord, he or she receives the water of the Word, the Bread of Life, and the Sunshine of God's glory. As the soul soaks in these nutrients, it flourishes, but when starved of any of these, wilting occurs.
I have seen it a thousand times. Well, not literally, in reality, more like 10,000 times. Those who forsake the assembly dwindle in their spiritual lives. It happens EVERY time, without fail.
It serves a soul well to stay faithful in God's house.
