My Favorite Song

If you had to chose one song out of all the songs you have ever heard, could you do so? I would almost have to break them down into categories and then pick a few from each.

But there is one song I absolutely love. It is so uplifting. Every time I read the lyrics, I am thrilled. Funny thing is, the lyrics are all I know. I don't even know the tune. You see, the song was written 3000 years ago in a foreign land. The lyrics are timeless. I won't know the tune until I get to heaven.

We are admonished to sing to the Lord psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, and this is my favorite psalms. Well, at least one of them in that category.

Here is the song...

Psa 100 A Psalm of praise. Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye
lands. Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with
singing.
Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we
ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be
thankful unto him, and bless his name.
For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
