Now or Later

Rev 6:15  And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16  And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17  For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

   

Surely, one day, every knee will bow to the Father and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord. We can do it of our own glad volition or rebels will do it as the angels force them to do obeisance before Him in His day of wrath.

There will not be one obstinate word uttered, only a certain, fateful acceptance of their doom and His Lordship over all.

Recently, Randy, the atheist, challenged me on my blog comments for the blog "Garbage Dumps and Cesspools" to prove the existence of my god (little "g") or shut up. In this blog, I was on a rant about the "hatetheists" and their railings against all things Christian. I am glad he visited, for now he has no excuse (Romans 1). He will have to one day accept or continue to reject God's sovereignty over him. If he continues to reject God's explicit love and forgiveness, he will be forced to join this contingent of hapless sinners in beseeching the rocks to fall upon him to hide him from the face of Him that sitteth on the throne.

Randy, if you are reading, I implore you to turn now toward the loving arms of Christ, not a sky fairy, but the almighty Creator, crucified, risen and coming again. In that day, you will not find a welcome reception, only judgment for your unbelief.
