No Better Place

Ecc 9:1  For all this I considered in my heart even to declare all this, that the righteous, and the wise, and their works, are in the hand of God:

Often, while praying for people in the hospitals, nursing homes and other places where sorrow and insecurity are manifest, I commit these dear people to the hand of God. There is no better place for them! It is a secure place, a comfortable place and a protected place.

We say of people going into surgery, "It is now in the hands of the doctor." We thank God for these good doctors, who, whether they know it or not, are tools of the Great Physician. But it is into the hand of God in which we should commit our loved ones, our jobs, our church, our very lives. There just is no better place!
