Psalm 41:1 Blessed
is he that considereth the
poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. 2 The LORD will preserve him, and keep him
alive; and he shall be blessed
upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies. 3 The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of
languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.
The Bible is replete
with reminders of sowing and reaping. Here is a good one. Be sensitive to and
take care of the truly needy and God will ensure that you are ministered to in
your time of need.
An old song
says, "it's a gimmie, gimmie, take, take, gimmie, gimmie, take, take
world." Unfortunately, this is how most people operate.
There are givers
and there are takers. Taker's needs are never satisfied and the giver's
satisfaction is in meeting needs.
Jesus said, it
is more blessed to give than to receive.
One of the great
blessings of giving is that God sees to it that the benefactor is replenished
so that they are able to continue being a conduit.
Friend, invest
in the needs of others and God will allow you to make withdrawals in your time
of need
