WHAT IS THE ANSWER???

What is the Answer?

This is the question I have been hearing

 “What are we going to do about what we all are fearing?”

In person, print and on the TV screen.

Seems it’s the worst it has ever been.

Craziness abounds everywhere we look,

“How are these mentally disturbed kooks

Able to carry guns? There should be better rules.

Shootings in malls, at the movies and even in the schools.”

“And, 30 rounds? Possibility for too much harm.

Can’t we put some restrictions on arms?

At least on the kinds people can use?

Hunting guns are okay, but assault rifles? There’s no excuse!”

For others, the blame falls directly upon

Medical conditions, constitutions not very strong.

Some have conditions, minds which are weak,

So meds are dispensed to keep kids mild and meek.

Abilify, Cymbalta, Thorazine, Lexapro

Paxil, Prozac, Ritalin, Depakote

Topamax, Valium, Lunesta, Xanax

They alter moods, check depression and help to relax.

But side effects occur with each one of these,

So check carefully the label please,

 “Taking this med can cause sleeplessness or DEPRESSION,

SUICIDE or thoughts of MURDER may be an obsession.”

And then there are the terrorists bent on destroying the west,

By Cyber-terror, EMPs or with a shrapnel-filled vest,

Nukes, guns, abduction and beheading, they will use it all.

Unless we submit to Allah, and adopt Sharia law.

“This world has gone to pieces!” We are reminded 24/7.

The more suffering down here, the more we long for heaven.

There is no peace, no love, and the joy is almost gone.

And the way it is looking, our present world won’t last so long.

Well, that brings me to the question posed,

What could the answer be?  Gun bans? Psych evals? More restrictions imposed?

As to the status quo, where are we going to start?

The answer’s what it’s always been, Christ Jesus in the heart!
