Waiting for the Change

Mat 17:1 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart, 2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.

As Jesus was quickly transfigured before the 3 apostles in just moments and was suddenly accompanied by Moses and Elijah, so shall we who believe be transfigured before Him in the twinkling of an eye. We will then immediately be in the presence of the saints who have gone before us.

We too shall have shining garments and faces, reflecting from the glory of the Savior.

1Co 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

I am awaiting my change, working for the Master in the meanwhile.
