Welcome to my thoughts concerning my daily devotions. I hope something that I receive from the Word may, in turn, be somewhat of a blessing to you also. May the Lord bless you this and every day as you love and serve Him.

Fill 'er Up
Luk 5:16 And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed. 17 And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.
Jesus took the time to get away for a refill. The result was the power of the Lord upon Him to heal those from every town in the Galilee, as well as people from Judaea and Jerusalem, and even the Pharisees and doctors of the law, if they would believe.
Listen friend, if Jesus took the opportunity to be filled with the Holy Spirit, shouldn't we make sure that we stop by God's filling station on a regular basis and ask the Attendant to "Fill 'er up!"? It's better than sitting by the side of the road with an empty tank. Just look around you at all the powerless Christians you know. See how frustrated they are as they continue to operate in the power of the flesh. The Lord has an alternate fuel for you that is much more efficient than what you are running in your tank now.
