Ps 56:4 In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.
Ps 56:10, 11 In God will I praise his word: in the LORD will I praise his word. In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.
Sometimes, we Bible believers are accused of being bibliolaters, that is, we idolize and worship the Bible. I plead guilty to an extent. God's Word is His bond and His promise. God has magnified His Word above all His name. Ps 138:2
I love the Word of God, for it is truth. It has all the answers of Life. Its depths can never be fathomed. Its riches can never be depleted. It is life to me. It is my anchor. It is my sword. It is a hammer. It is the water of life, and daily bread for the soul. It is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. It is alive! Though the ink has long since dried on its pages, it is fluid. It meets my needs on a daily basis. The Holy Spirit speaks to my daily need through its God-breathed pages. Through the Bible, I know God, I experience His character, standard, love, mercy and grace.
The Word of God remains the world's best-selling book, but to me it is the world's best reading love story. I also see it as life's owner's manual. To me it is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction and for instruction in righteousness.
So like David, I choose to praise the Word of God.
Oh Lord, how I love, praise and honor your reliable, unfailing Word!
I love the way you LOVE THE WORD, Sincerely. Every believer need to get to a level where nothing matters to us more than what the Was Says. The bible will never lead anybody astray therefore, we need to Trust it, Love it, Learn it and Praise.
